Annual Chocolate Lover's Fling

CHOCOLATE LOVER’S SWING

Leap back in time to a decade of prosperity and optimism.  The Youth Garden Project’s Chocolate Lover’s Fling this year is inspired by the Roaring 20’s. Be a “Flapper,” a “Newsie,” or a “20’s Gangster” for the night and experience Jazz music, swing dancing, and of course, delicious chocolate desserts.

If you would like to make a chocolate dessert for the Swing here are the guidelines:

  • Please make enough for 40-60 people, but remember the portions are very small-just over bite size!
  • The theme is jazz, but it is not necessary to stick with the theme. Categories for desserts are Most Creative, Best Theme Interpretation, Best Presentation, Best Tasting.
  • Call Youth Garden Project to register your dessert (We need to know how many desserts to expect so we have enough table space).
  • Please write your name and phone number on the bottom of serving trays and serving utensils.
  • Bring your dessert to the Grand Center on February 29th between 3-5 pm.
  • YOU WILL RECEIVE A FREE TICKET FOR MAKING A DESSERT!
