Moab Farmers' Market

The Moab Farmers' Market is an event of the Youth Garden Project, providing and promoting a direct market venue which supports artists and local farms; supplies fresh, high quality food; and raises awareness about the economic, social and ecological benefits of buying local. Farmers' Markets are the fastest growing part of the American food economy and are also growing as tourist destinations.

The Farmers' Market is for everyone! Fresh food and local plant growers, artists and craftsmen, prepared foods, on site services, community information, local entertainment and special events will be featured weekly. Patrons, shoppers, children, tourists and browsers are all welcome. Books and Farmers' Market Coffee will be available weekly.

There are locally owned businesses that would qualify as vendors, providing a local service or locally made product, but may not want to register as vendors. They wish to support the Farmers' Market with Cash or In-Kind contributions in return for a presence through logo or informational brochures. We will promote our Moab Farmers' Market sponsors weekly at the Sponsor Booth.

Located at Swanny City Park 100 West and Park Drive running every Saturday from 8:00 AM to Noon beginning May 9 through October 24, the Moab Farmers' Market is a venue for everyone that has an interest in what's happening in Moab. Gift Certificates will be available. Food stamps are accepted.

THANK YOU to our 2009 Sponsors: the Sarah Beth Coyote Foundation, Arches Book Company, Ye Ol' Geezer Meat Shop, Moonflower Market, Freenotes, Morning Glory Healing Arts, Sol Food Farms, Canyon Color Graphics, Moab Happenings, KZMU Radio, The Times Independent.
