The Youth Garden Project hosts a variety of workshops throughout the year. Workshop instructors are often community members or YGP staff who have expertise in a given field. Previous topics have included: seed germination, fruit tree pruning, wild edibles, food preservation, bread making, irrigation 101, herbal medicinals, pollinators, DIY composting and more!

Weeds, But Wonders!

Our next workshop will be Monday, May 16th from 6:00-7:30pm!

Join us as we learn about wild edibles of the spring, discover how to concoct foods and/or teas from foraged plants, gain knowledge on nutritional properties of weeds, get your questions answered and more! Cost is $10 and space is limited, so please RSVP by calling YGP at 435-259-2326 or e-mail

If you or someone you know is interested in guest-teaching a workshop for our community, please contact Julie Zender by calling 435-259-2326 or e-mail:
