Workshops

The Youth Garden Project hosts a variety of workshops throughout the year. Workshop Instructors consist of Community Members or YGP Staff who have expertise in a given field. Previous topics have included: seed germination, fruit tree pruning, wild edibles, food preservation, bread making, irrigation 101, herbal medicinals, pollinators, DIY composting and more!

Compost Workshop!

Tuesday, July 1st 6:00-7:30pm

taught by long time composter Jake Burnett of Castle Valley

Cost: $10

Learn all about compost and how to get your home composting system started. We will cover the how to, ingredients, types of piles, and build a pallet-style bin.
