The Youth Garden Project hosts a variety of workshops throughout the year. Workshop instructors are often community members or YGP staff who have expertise in a given field. Previous topics have included: seed germination, fruit tree pruning, wild edibles, food preservation, bread making, irrigation 101, herbal medicinals, pollinators, DIY composting and more!

Backyard Chickens Workshop

Tuesday, October 18th, 2016 - 5:30-7pm

Join the Youth Garden Project’s Garden Manager, Sarah Perez-Sanz, on October 18th for a night of learning what you need to know to raise and care for backyard chickens! Topics will include raising chicks to chickens, city regulations, coop design, food and water mechanisms, and more. This workshop is at YGP and costs $10. Call 435-259-2326 to sign-up.
