Our Mission

The Youth Garden Project cultivates healthy children, families, and community through educational programs and connecting people with food from seed to table.

8th Annual

Harvest Festival

Join us for our 8th Annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, September 19th, from 3-7pm! Live music from New Mexico-based Alex Dunn starts at 3pm, with The Butch Cassidies to follow at 5pm. This year’s Blue Ribbon Produce Contest & Exhibition, in partnership with USU Extension, will award a grand prize for the largest squash, watermelon, or pumpkin.

There will be local food, a pie walk, a seed spittin’ contest, a mini chuckin’ station, face painting, seed-to-table activities, games, and more… check out this page for more information and/or to sign up to volunteer!

Join us for our next

Weed N Feed!

Our next Weed N Feed of the season is Wednesday, September 16th, from 6-8 pm!

Every other Wednesday from April to October (excluding the month of July), join us for ~1.5 hours of weeding in exchange for a free, garden-fresh meal. All ages and abilities welcome!

Register for our October Garden Dinner

Our last Garden Dinner of the season will be October 10 with Chef Megan Bartley. For this dinner, Megan is preparing a delicious menu that incorporates wild-foraged plants and insect ingredients in ways that are approachable, educational, and entirely unforgettable!
